Painting

All our kits come unpainted. Unless otherwise stated in the assembly instructions, there are two ways of painting. 1. to paint the parts before assembly individually or option 2.: paint after assembly.

The primer and paint can be done either with brush, paint spray or airbrush.

Primer

We recommend to be thoroughly degrease and prime all parts prior to painting. For the priming of metal components, we recommend to use a metal primer. For the primer of the plastic parts a corresponding plastics primer. 

Painting

Once all parts primed and completely dried out, the parts can be painted.

To more easily distinguish doors, windows, basement boxes and other components in color, we have constructed these components separately in many kits. This means, e.g. the windows can be easily painted before they are glued.
